Kinship Youth

About Kinship Youth

Kinship Carers UK youth club is based at Woodgreen Church, Hastings Drive, Worcester. The youth group offers kinship children and young people a place to engage with other kinship children, to meet friends, to have fun and to find support.  The youth sessions are hosted by our youth workers and various sectors of the Community Partnership. The service offered is aimed to help kinship children and young people enjoy themselves, achieve their potential and build their self-esteem through positive activities which enhance their personal and social development.

The Kinship Youth provision is held fortnightly from 5:30 pm to 7:30pm during term time only.  The children and young people are split into two groups, 6 to 10 year olds in one group and 11 to 16 year olds in another group.

To access membership for the youth club, a kinship carer must register their own and the child’s details with us. The child is left in the care of Kinship Carers UK for the session  and the carer or an appropriate adult can collect them at 7:30pm.  The youth service is provided free to all children. For more information please use the Contact Us form on the website.
